A Tennis Legend
Ron Schaub has a tennis career spanning over four decades. Since 1982, he's been a revered tennis professional at Lakewood Racket Club, guiding players to excellence, maintaining the courts, building a very special comradery with our members, and so much more.
In addition to his role at Lakewood, Ron served as the Lexington girls' tennis coach from 1994 to 2021 and continues to coach the boys' team to this day. Under his leadership, both teams have achieved remarkable success, clinching numerous state championships and making countless appearances in the state finals.
With nine state championships and multiple years in the state finals under his belt, Ron's coaching prowess is unmatched. He's known not only for his technical knowledge but also for instilling values of sportsmanship, perseverance, and teamwork in his players.
Ron offers private lessons and specializes in mid-level to advanced players - with focus on improving technical skills.

Jansen Webster's passion for tennis drives his multifaceted role at Lakewood Racket Club, where he serves as a tennis instructor, General Manager, and coach.
A Lexington High School graduate and former varsity standout, Jansen's achievements include being part of the 2013 state champion team and earning district titles. Jansen trained here at Lakewood growing up, and understands the impact of having great coaches to support a youngsters tennis journey.
Since 2021, Jansen has coached the Lexington varsity boys' team and, since 2022, the varsity girls' team.
Additionally, he offers private lessons catering to players of all levels, from beginners to college-level athletes and state qualifiers.
Jansen's dedication extends beyond coaching; as General Manager, he ensures the smooth operation of the club, embodying his commitment to tennis excellence and community engagement.
